About

the Role

Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Product Supervisor to join the team in our Marketing department. As a Product Supervisor, you will deliver a World Class Experience by supporting the management of product life cycles for multiple products (deposits, loans, credit cards) across MB&T’s business and consumer lines of business. This role balances customer needs, business goals (profitability/growth), technology, market research, data analytics, and regulatory requirements to ensure product success.

With a keen eye toward client experience, you will be tasked with owning the reporting of product KPIs, performing market research, data querying and analysis, tracking customer satisfaction, recommending product/portfolio enhancements, bringing new products to market, and supporting marketing efforts that promote product education, engagement, and utilization. Proficiency in critical and strategic thinking, data querying and analysis, attention to detail, communication skills, and multi-tasking are foundational to the role.

You will be located in Santa Barbara, CA with a fully on-site work schedule.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3-5 years of financial services experience required.
  • Product Management experience in bringing products to market is required.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable business intelligence.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, problem-solve, and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines.
  • Proficient in Word and PowerPoint; highly proficient in Excel.
Your Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Use strong analytical skills to consistently track and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer requirements to identify new opportunities for new products and enhancements.
  • Partner with Data Analyst, in the use of the SQL database and other sources, to evaluate segment level and product level growth, trends, and utilization to drive continuous improvement in profitability and ROI.
  • Align teams (marketing, system administration, sales, and customer support) to coordinate the activities required to bring products to market. Create buy-in for product vision both internally and externally.
  • Create User Guides and FAQs for new products or product enhancements to ensure clients have detailed product information and resources for support.
  • Own the Bank’s Voice of Customer survey platform Avannis, including administration of the program as well as analysis and reporting of the quarterly results.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to develop sales tools, marketing materials, and identify necessary product feature changes.
