Brief Summary ofJob Duties
The Californians For All College Corps is a state-funded initiative providing college students with paid service opportunities, enabling them to earn up to $10,000 (living stipend + education award) by completing 450 hours of community service in areas like K-12 education, food insecurity, and climate action. Targeted at low-to-moderate income students, it aims to reduce debt while building professional skills. UCSB will be joining Cal Poly San Luis Obispo's Coastal California Civic Leadership Consortium for the upcoming College Corps grant period of January 2026 to June 2029 and was approved to offer fellowships to 60 UCSB students annually who will work with local non-profits, government agencies, and community serving programs at higher education campuses.
The College Corp Program Coordinator oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of the fellowship program by managing strategic community partnerships, student recruitment, and rigorous operational compliance. This role serves as the primary liaison for both community host partners and student applicants, focusing on building a diverse talent pipeline that reflects the UCSB student body while vetting and maintaining high-quality professional placements through a high-volume schedule of site visits and one-on-one meetings.
Beyond relationship management, the Coordinator provides direct supervision and project management for a team of 7-10 student interns and ensures program integrity by meticulously tracking training hours, evaluating performance metrics, and managing stipend eligibility in accordance with grant requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

- This position is grant-funded. Continued employment is strictly contingent upon the availability of this grant source and grant renewals which will be re-applied for every three years. The current grant is funded through June 30, 2029.
