Personal Qualifications
A qualified teacher possesses excellent communication skills for working with children, families and staff. Must value and invest in quality relationships with children, between children and with families. Good organizational skills are a must. The ideal candidate is curious, friendly, engaging and dependable.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement curriculum for young children with your team. Work collaboratively with other teachers and assistants. Participate in the set-up of both inside and outside classrooms. Participate in the assessment of children in preschool program. Be able to delegate responsibilities as needed. Must be able to work full time.
Education and QualificationsBA in Early Childhood/Child Development desired. 12 ECE Units and experience required as well as fingerprints, First Aide/CPR and current immunizations required. Experience preferred. Good Health verified by a Physician's report.
BenefitsGenerous paid holidays: 2 weeks at Christmas, 3 days at Thanksgiving, 1 week Spring break, 4 days in June, and 2 weeks in August, plus all major bank holidays. Paid sick days, up to 12 per year. Health insurance and retirement plan available.
$25 and above per hour for teachers depending on education and experience.
Strong references required.
