Department: Sociology / Anthropology / Archaeology

Provide quality instruction and create a learning environment that encourages discussion of ideas, interests, and issues. Responsibilities include lecture and lab teaching, curriculum development, grading, assessment, advising students, and collaboration with departmental faculty. Part‑time faculty must be available to students outside of class.

Starting rate: $102.90/h for lecture and $82.33/h for lab. Doctoral candidates: $107.87/h lecture, $86.30/h lab.

• Master’s degree in anthropology
• OR Master’s in archaeology
• OR Bachelor’s in either field
• AND Master’s in sociology, biological sciences, forensic sciences, genetics, or paleontology
• OR equivalent education/experience
• Evidence of sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of students, faculty, and staff.
