Santa Barbara Unified School District seeks a Special Education Para educator II to support students in junior high school with moderate to severe needs. This full-time position entails working six hours a day, during the school year, helping students with learning tasks, behavior management, and personal care.
The ideal candidate will have at least a high school education and experience in an instructional setting. Knowledge of basic instructional strategies and effective communication skills are essential. CPR and CPI certifications are required within the first six months of employment.
