Santa Barbara City College is seeking a Part-time Instructor to provide quality instruction and facilitate a learning environment that encourages open discussion. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in English or a related field. Responsibilities include developing curriculum, teaching lecture and lab classes, and providing support to students outside of class.
The role offers competitive hourly rates: $102.90 per hour for lectures and $82.33 for labs. A doctorate increases these rates. Candidates should be sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of community college students and staff.
