Provide quality instructions, create and maintain an environment which emphasizes teaching and learning and encourages free discussion of ideas, interests and issues. Employees will also be responsible for various department duties such as ordering, inventory, cleaning and organizing. Primary duties of part‑time faculty members are related to curriculum and teaching; the assignment is divided between lecture and lab classes as determined by the department.

Part‑time instructional faculty are required to be available to students outside of class.

The starting credit part‑time rate from salary table 9 is $55.14 per hour non‑Lecture. If you have a doctorate, the rate is $57.80 per hour non‑Lecture.

• Any bachelor's degree AND two years of experience in esthetics
• Any associate degree AND six years of experience in esthetics
• OR possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to all of the above. Candidates making an application on the basis of equivalency must submit an Application for Equivalency in addition to all other required material.
• Evidence of a sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff.
