• Provide quality instruction for construction technology vocational electrical courses.
• Create and maintain a learning environment that encourages discussion of ideas, interests, and issues.
• Teach lecture and laboratory classes as assigned by the department.
• Be available to students outside of class for instruction and support.

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience, or associate’s degree and six years of experience.
• Equivalency: possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to all above.
• Evidence of sensitivity and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.
• If the degree title does not exactly match required titles, a request for equivalency review and supporting documents (SBCC Equivalency Crosswalk and narrative synopsis) is required.
