Job Summary
Part‑time Instructor Pool – Construction Technology. Salary: $82.33 – $115.20 per hour. Job Type: PT Credit Faculty.

Provide quality instruction, create and maintain an environment that emphasizes teaching and learning, encourage discussion of ideas, and support student achievement. Class time is divided between lecture and lab. Faculty members are required to be available to students outside class.
SalaryStarting credit part‑time faculty rate: $102.90 per hour for lecture, $82.33 per hour for lab. With a doctorate: $107.87 per hour lecture, $86.30 per hour lab.
Qualifications- Minimum qualifications are those approved by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience.
- Associate’s degree and at least 6 years of experience.
- Combination of education and experience that is at least equivalent to all of the above.
- Evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student backgrounds.
- Equivalency review may be required if degree title does not match the minimum qualifications.

- Unofficial college/university transcript (with degree title and expected completion date if not yet conferred). Official transcripts required upon hire.

- Foreign transcript: course‑by‑course analysis with equivalency statement from a U.S. certified evaluation service.
- Letters of reference are not required.

Selection ProcedureThe committee reviews applications. Selected candidates will conduct a teaching demonstration. Interviews may be remote or in‑person. No travel expenses will be reimbursed.
