Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Santa Barbara, California.

In this role, you will provide quality educational services to special education students in grades K-12 while collaborating with administrators, educators, and families to support student success through individualized instruction and educational planning.

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Provide tutorial assistance and academic support
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in educational planning and team meetings
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
• Valid state teaching credential as required by state and district regulations
• Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred
• Standard Elementary Teaching Certification preferred
• Standard Secondary Teaching Certification preferred
• Standard Special Education Teaching Certification preferred
• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement preferred
• Compliance with all professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification, if applicable
• TB clearance and required health documentation
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
