Instructional Assistant I - Upper Grade Math Aide

Under the immediate supervision of a certificated teacher and principal, assist classroom teachers and other certificated personnel in the supervision of pupils and in instructional tasks that may be performed by a person not licensed as a classroom teacher in categorical programs; perform related work as required. Not responsible for initial planning or instruction.

REQUIREMENTS:
Associate of Arts degree or two years of college credit (48 units). Para educator competency test is available for those who lack the college credits. Include two letters of reference.

NOTE:

State law requires that employees must complete fingerprint process to check for or verify conviction record. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify you from employment, but failure to list convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
