Traditional schools set the bar. You'll train students to surpass it.
Every child holds untapped potential. Most educators ease up when faced with difficulty. Your approach is different. You recognize that genuine confidence stems not from empty praise, but from guiding someone to achieve what they believed was beyond reach. If you've ever pushed a student, athlete, camper, or mentee to persist when they wanted to give up, you'll find purpose in this work.
Alpha has reimagined education with one core principle: AI excels at academic delivery, while exceptional people excel dents progress through foundational academics via adaptive, AI-driven learning platforms. Your responsibility is cultivating what technology cannot—discipline, grit, communication, accountability, concentration, and the conviction that hard things matter. You won't be lecturing or grading assignments. Instead, you'll coach students through obstacles, acknowledge meaningful progress, and guide them toward goals they once deemed unattainable.
Approximately 60% of your time involves facilitating dynamic, one-hour workshops on life skills topics such as public speaking, concentration, leadership, and constructive feedback. About 30% is dedicated to individual and small-group coaching, using Coachbot analytics to pinpoint which students need encouragement, accountability, or a strategic shift. The final 10% is spent analyzing data, refining your methods, and positioning students for continued growth.
You'll begin with established workshop models, then iterate and enhance them as you uncover more effective motivational techniques.
Performance is measurable. A minimum of 90% of your students should regularly achieve their weekly academic targets, demonstrate competency in Alpha's life skills via Test2
Pass evaluations, and rate their experience with you at 4 out of 5 or higher. Consistently meet this benchmark and you'll advance to Lead Guide, mentoring fellow Guides, and potentially Campus Lead, where you'll influence the ethos and outcomes of an entire school.
This position isn't suited for those seeking to lecture, adhere strictly to curriculum, or occupy students with busywork. It's designed for coaches, mentors, youth facilitators, performers, tutors, and educators who define success by student transformation. Every finalist participates in a full-day session coaching actual Alpha students before an offer is extended. If that appeals to you more than conventional interviews, we're eager to connect.
