Overview
Senior Optical Systems Test Engineer | $240–270k + equity | Santa Barbara, CA (Onsite preferred)
I’m working with a high-growth communications technology company developing advanced optical systems for large-scale computing environments.
They’re looking to add a Senior Optical Systems Test Engineer to lead system-level testing and characterisation of high-speed optical links.
Responsibilities- Lead system-level testing and characterisation of high-speed optical links
- Optical communications testing at a system level, not just components
- Experience with coherent optical links
- High-speed link characterisation and performance validation
- Understanding of signal integrity and optical system behaviour
- Background from established optical communications environments
- Base salary: $240–270k + equity
High-impact role with ownership of optical system validation.
