Recognized as one of the fastest-growing firms in our sector, we are looking to hire two dedicated Pipeline Construction Quality Inspectors. This on-site position will be based in Carpinteria, running from late May through September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction Inspection:
    • Oversee construction activities for water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.
    • Monitor project activities to meet quality, safety, and permit requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Keep accurate records of inspections and construction activities, and document any deviations from the approved plans.
    • Prepare daily inspection reports and provide updates to project stakeholders as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all projects comply with necessary plans, specifications, and permitting requirements.
    • Verify adherence to SWPPP and MMRP standards when applicable.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address challenges and facilitate effective project execution.
    • Relay inspection results, updates, and potential risks to team members.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with contract requirements concerning materials, workmanship, and construction practices.
What You Will Bring
  • Strong passion for water and a commitment to creating multi-benefit solutions for communities and the environment.
  • Previous experience in construction, construction management, or inspection, especially related to water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure design, construction methods, and applicable codes in civil, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications accurately.
  • OSHA training and ISO certifications are preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to meet company and insurance driving eligibility requirements are necessary.
Compensation

This full-time, non-exempt position offers an hourly rate of $65.00, which meets or exceeds the prevailing wage rate. The position is for approximately 40 hours per week.
