Investment Associate

As an Investment Associate, your service-oriented nature and impeccable attention to detail are key in this position supporting our Investments Team. You’re articulate, polished, and have an aptitude for financial vernacular. • Work with a high-performing & growth-oriented investment team responsible for the management of over $14B in client assets
• Utilize Tamarac trading software for daily trading requirements and portfolio reporting
• Participate in Mission Wealth’s investment committee and contribute to the research of ETFs, mutual funds, individual stocks/bonds, options, and alternative investments used in Mission Wealth portfolios
• Interact with preferred custodians (Fidelity/Schwab) to execute trades
• Work with a high-performing & growth-oriented team
• Speak your mind, have your voice heard, innovate, and streamline existing processes
• Grow yourself personally and professionally with the support of your team

• Desire to work in a financial support role, ideally with some experience within wealth management
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics and a desire to achieve the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
• Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Strong knowledge base across investments, economics, accounting, and financial planning
• Proficient with the full MS Office Suite; ability to create complex and impactful presentations/analysis
• Experience with Salesforce, Tamarac/Envestnet, & Fidelity/Schwab, Bloomberg, and Fact Set
• A sincere desire to make a difference not only in clients’ lives but in the world, demonstrated through your own volunteer journey

Full-time, salaried non-exempt

This position is based out of our Santa Barbara office location. This is an in-office position.

$75,000, plus annual bonus paid in quarterly increments
