Job Summary
We are seeking a Client Service Representative for a full-time, direct hire banking opportunity in Santa Barbara, CA. This role is ideal for a client-focused banking professional with teller experience, account-opening knowledge, and a strong interest in building long-term relationships with consumer and business banking clients.
The Client Service Representative will work in a professional branch environment that values teamwork, accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities- Open and service consumer accounts, business accounts, and related banking products based on experience level.
- Process teller transactions, account maintenance requests, and day-to-day client service needs accurately and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and refer clients to appropriate banking partners.
- Build strong client relationships by delivering responsive, professional, and confidential service.
- Maintain accurate documentation while following banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support branch goals, business development efforts, and a positive team-focused work environment.
- Pay: $20.00 to $31.90 per hour, depending on experience.

- Open and maintain consumer and business banking accounts.
- Process teller transactions and client account service requests.
- Support cross-selling, referrals, and branch business development goals.
- Maintain compliance with banking procedures, documentation standards, and regulations.
CSR II: 1 or more years of banking or teller experience with experience opening consumer accounts.
CSR III: 2 or more years of banking or teller experience with experience opening consumer accounts and basic business accounts.
Senior CSR III: 3 or more years of banking or teller experience with advanced consumer account and complex business account-opening experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent judgment and ability to handle confidential client and financial information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking systems.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and procedures, including BSA, as required by level.
- Prior experience in a community banking, retail banking, or consumer lending environment.
- Experience supporting both teller operations and platform banking responsibilities.
- Familiarity with business banking account documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to meet branch service, referral, and client relationship goals.
