About the Position
Pay Rate: $74.00 - $78.00/Hourly.

Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) assists interventional radiologists in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. The technologist is responsible for preparing equipment, maintaining sterile technique, operating imaging systems, and ensuring patient safety throughout interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the interventional radiology suite, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functioning.

Verify patient identity, procedure details, and consent before procedures.

Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explaining the procedure process.

⁠Operate fluoroscopy, digital imaging systems, and other radiology equipment during procedures.

Assist the physician in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images.

Adjust imaging settings to optimize image clarity and radiation safety.

Requirements
Requirements:

2 - Year experience  Required,

Must have 4 - years of cath lab experience,

Must have Fluoro Permit,

CRT Required,

BLS Certification.

Preferred Requirements:

ACLS Certification,

Epic experience,

ARRT (R) Certification.
