About the Position
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $54.00/Hourly.
Summary:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU provides specialized respiratory care to neonates and premature infants experiencing breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. The RRT works closely with neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assess, treat, and monitor respiratory conditions in critically ill newborns while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor respiratory status of neonates in the NICU.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments as prescribed.
Manage neonatal ventilators, CPAP, and high-frequency ventilation systems.
Assist with neonatal intubation and extubation procedures.
Provide airway suctioning and maintain airway patency.
Respond to respiratory emergencies and resuscitation situations.
Requirements
Requirements:
5 - Year experience Required,
Epic experience Required,
BLS Certification,
ACLS Certification,
PALS Certification,
NRP Certification,
RRT,
CA State Licensure.
