American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 4 years of Cath Lab experience and a valid Fluoroscopy Permit for a 13‑week travel assignment in Santa Barbara, CA.
Details- Inpatient hospital setting within an Interventional Radiology unit
- Patient population spans pediatrics through geriatrics
- Procedures include TAVR, Watchman, Mitra Clip, stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, peripheral vascular studies, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, genitourinary studies, venous access procedures, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Required equipment experience includes Siemens and Philips imaging systems; GE, Toshiba, Acuson, and Hitachi experience preferred
- Charting performed in Epic
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On‑call required
- Floating required per facility policy
- Minimum of 4 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS and Fluoroscopy Permit required prior to start; CRT required prior to start
- ACLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, and NMTCB certifications preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Inpatient work setting experience required; outpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, community hospital, and adult ICU experience preferred
- Proficiency with IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS, portables, C‑arm, and contrast administration required
- Experience with TAVR, Watchman, and Mitra Clip procedures required
- COVID‑19 vaccination required
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- First‑time travelers are eligible if they have more than 4 years of experience
- This position is located in Santa Barbara, CA, which has a high cost of living — candidates are encouraged to research local living expenses before applying
- All time‑off requests must be submitted upfront and should be limited to no more than 3–4 days for the duration of the contract
