The Facilities / EH&S Specialist will assist in the planning and execution of maintenance and general repairs of commercial buildings, performing Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety functions, maintaining a safe and effective work environment for all Arthrex employees. Partnering with the Corporate EH&S Team, the specialist carries out Safety Training and ongoing Safety Initiatives.

• Provide hands‑on supervision and guidance to the maintenance and custodial personnel.
• Perform frequent evaluations of the Arthrex site to ensure the highest level of care and appearance.
• Manage the contractor and vendor relationships and documentation.
• Foster a work environment that emphasizes the implementation of quality and safety practices.
• Coordinate facility changes with contractors, building trades and regulatory agencies.
• Present training programs to personnel related to accident prevention and workplace safety.
• Maintain statistical data and prepare reports regarding occupational injuries and accidents.
• Participate in new hire orientations and perform inspections of Fire and Emergency systems.
• Recognize and correct safety hazards in the workplace.
• Must have flexible hours with occasional evening and weekend work.
• Involvement in the creation and maintenance of company safety teams.
• Develop equipment and job‑specific hazard analysis.
• Assist in maintaining Hazardous Material storage/disposal and regulatory compliance.
• Support all areas of the Arthrex Environmental, Health and Safety Program.
• Perform workplace inspections and training to maintain compliance with applicable OSHA and EPA Regulations and established procedures.
• Perform & document equipment maintenance (PM’s) as required by the Quality Management System.

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ comparable experience required in the implementation of EHS programs & Facilities maintenance required.
