Travel Radiology Technician

🕒 Shift:

• Shift Type: Day
• Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
• Timing: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Weekend: Every Saturday (start 7:00–8:00 AM, end 3:30–4:30 PM)

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures such as PET scans.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients safely.
• Start and maintain IV lines for injections and imaging procedures.
• Operate nuclear imaging equipment (e.g., GE Nuclear Medicine Imaging Systems).
• Monitor patients during and after procedures.
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions (PPE).
• Store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials according to safety regulations.
• Work with the radiology team and physicians to capture accurate images.
• Document procedures in Epic.

Requirements – Nuclear Medicine Tech Experience Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience Licenses & Certifications CA CPDH NMT License (California Nuclear Medicine Tech License) ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification BLS (Basic Life Support) Preferred Certifications PET certification / experience
