Assistant Front Office Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in a team-leading or management role overseeing front office services
- Proven ability to coach, teach, and develop staff
- Experience in resorts and multi-unit operations
- Direct oversight of Front Desk, Concierge, Lobby, Bell Services, and Reservations required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Expertise in departmental cohesion and team building
Assistant Front Office Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and manage front office staff, providing ongoing feedback and conducting regular performance evaluations
- Oversee scheduling, payroll, expense management, and adherence to accounting policies
- Ensure all guest interactions exceed 4-star service standards and maximize revenue opportunities through staff coaching and goal-setting
- Maintain effective knowledge of hotel operations, forecasting, staffing, and optimize labor costs based on business needs
- Foster a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in all front office and guest-facing areas
- Resolve guest and employee concerns promptly and professionally, acting as the main point of contact for escalated issues
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences and achieve operational objectives
- Represent the Front Office in meetings, drive departmental initiatives, and support continuous improvement of service standards
- Participate in the hotels Manager on Duty program and uphold all safety protocols
