As our studio continues to scale, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help build and maintain the systems that support our designers, our clients, and our long-term growth.
The OpportunityThis is a high-impact leadership role for a highly organized, systems-minded professional who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments.
As Operations Manager, you will serve as the operational backbone of the studio. You will be responsible for building structure, improving workflows, and ensuring projects move forward smoothly from contract to completion. Your work will directly influence project quality, client experience, and team performance.
This is not a design role. It is a strategic operations position for someone who enjoys creating clarity, consistency, and scalable systems.
- $85,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience

- Build and maintain detailed project timelines from contract through closeout
- Monitor active projects and proactively address schedule risks
- Coordinate key milestones including internal reviews, client presentations, procurement, and installations
- Audit and refine project management tools and platforms (Asana, Slack, Houzz Pro, shared drives, client portals)
- Improve workflows, templates, and documentation systems
- Implement processes that increase efficiency and reduce operational friction
- Train team members on system usage and maintain accountability
- Create and maintain organized project portals for each client
- Ensure drawings, selections, schedules, and documentation are current and accessible
- Maintain consistency and clarity across all projects
- Manage the studio calendar and internal deadlines
- Oversee Calendly settings and appointment workflows
- Balance team workloads and protect leadership’s time
- Align procurement timelines with project schedules
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to support install readiness
- Support clear communication between design and procurement partners
- Oversee shared inboxes and internal routing systems
- Track vendor invoices and client-billable expenses
- Support clean financial documentation and operational accuracy
We are looking for someone who brings both structure and judgment to complex environments.
You may be a strong fit if you are:
- Highly organized with excellent follow-through

- Comfortable managing multiple moving parts simultaneously
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or a related role
- Experience in design, construction, architecture, or creative services preferred, but not required
