Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Endocrinology; Santa Barbara, CA

Position Overview

Sansum Clinic is seeking a passionate and collaborative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting an established, well-respected practice with a strong patient base.

• Provide outpatient endocrine care, including chronic disease management
• Manage Type I & Type II diabetes and other endocrine-related conditions
• Deliver follow-up visits, urgent add-on visits, and work within a care-team pod model
• Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, diabetes educators, and clinical support staff
• Provide patient education on diet, exercise, medications, and long-term disease management
• Participate in administrative duties (approximately 10% of workload)

• Full-time position (36 patient-care hours per week)
• Monday-Friday

• Outpatient only (no hospital responsibilities)
• No call requirement
• Patient volume:
  12-16 patients per day

• 2 Year Guarantee
• $130, Annually

• NP/PA with Directly Related Experience in Endocrinology
• Excellent skill set in Endocrinology
• Interested in following chronic conditions over time
• NP/PA Certified
• DEA Certificate and/or California Furnishing License
• Eligible to Work in the United States
• CA Licensure or the Ability to Obtain CA Licensure
• Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
