Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist
Position Overview
Sansum Clinic is seeking a passionate and collaborative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting an established, well-respected practice with a strong patient base.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outpatient endocrine care, including chronic disease management
- Manage Type I & Type II diabetes and other endocrine-related conditions
- Deliver follow-up visits, urgent add-on visits, and work within a care-team pod model
- Collaborate closely with physicians, RNs, diabetes educators, and clinical support staff
- Provide patient education on diet, exercise, medications, and long-term disease management
- Participate in administrative duties (approximately 10% of workload)
- Full-time position (36 patient-care hours per week)
- Monday-Friday
, daytime schedule - Outpatient only (no hospital responsibilities)
- No call requirement
- Patient volume:
12-16 patients per day - Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team
- 2 Year Guarantee
- $130, Annually
- NP/PA with Directly Related Experience in Endocrinology
- Excellent skill set in Endocrinology
- Interested in following chronic conditions over time
- NP/PA Certified
- DEA Certificate and/or California Furnishing License
- Eligible to Work in the United States
- CA Licensure or the Ability to Obtain CA Licensure
- Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
