Santa Barbara Surgery Center is hiring a RN Pre Op / PACU Part Time registered nurse to provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, assisting physicians with conscious sedation and sterile techniques, and ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
Pay range: $56.00 - $70.00 / hour

- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS and ACLS Required; PALS if required by the center
- 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
