Job Details

We are seeking a Quality leader who can drive program‑level quality strategy within a complex manufacturing environment. This individual will partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to implement inspection strategies, manage supplier performance, and lead structured problem solving to improve product reliability and manufacturing performance. This role requires someone comfortable operating in regulated or highly structured quality environments while still moving quickly to support product development and production programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to develop and implement quality strategies across product programs and manufacturing operations.
  • Support and maintain structured quality systems aligned with ISO and industry standards, ensuring readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Lead structured problem solving using tools such as 8D, 5‑Why, DMAIC, and statistical analysis to address product, process, and supplier issues.
  • Oversee supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance improvement initiatives. Support supplier audits, inspections, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Develop inspection plans, control strategies, and risk mitigation frameworks to improve product reliability and reduce manufacturing defects.
  • Build and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting to drive data‑based decisions and operational improvements.
  • Work closely with product engineering, manufacturing teams, and external partners to ensure quality standards are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
Ideal Background
  • Experience in quality engineering or quality program leadership within complex manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in regulated or structured quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, or government or defense‑related inspections.
  • Demonstrated success leading root cause investigations and corrective action programs.
  • Experience managing supplier quality programs and improving supplier performance.
  • Background supporting electromechanical or hardware‑based products.
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt or similar continuous improvement certification preferred.
