Job Details Responsibilities
In-process inspection and evaluation of engineered space flight products.Reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints to understand product specifications.Using mechanical inspection devices for product evaluation.Conducting dimensional inspection using tools such as calipers and micrometers.Implementing and maintaining quality control systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.Documenting inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re‑work and waste, and inputting data into a quality database.Ensuring that all inspection and testing equipment are calibrated and functioning properly.Collaborating with the engineering team to rectify any quality issues and improve product quality.Conducting training sessions on quality control activities.Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality inspection role within the manufacturing industry.Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.Proficiency in using mechanical inspection devices and tools such as calipers and micrometers.Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality standards.Experience in conducting dimensional inspection.Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying discrepancies or defects.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with in‑process inspection is required.Equal Opportunity Statement
