Job OverviewThe Retail Associate is primarily responsible for delivering an elevated retail experience that supports sales performance, brand standards, and overall guest satisfaction within the spa boutique. The role emphasizes strong product knowledge, effective retail selling, visual presentation, and inventory awareness, while maintaining an inviting and well‑organized retail environment. In addition to primary retail responsibilities, the Retail Associate is expected to provide secondary support at the Spa Desk when business levels or operational needs require additional coverage.
Responsibilities- Deliver an elevated retail experience that supports sales performance, brand standards, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and effectively sell products to enhance revenue.
- Ensure visual presentation of merchandise meets brand standards and is inviting to guests.
- Maintain inventory awareness and assist with restocking and stock management.
- Keep the retail space organized, clean, and well‑presented at all times.
- Provide secondary support at the Spa Desk as needed to support business operations.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Experience in a hotel or related retail environment preferred.
- Positive, upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ability to multi‑task, remain detail oriented, and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced environment.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to evaluate alternative actions quickly and accurately.
- Effective in handling workplace problems, anticipating and preventing issues.
- Strong listening skills and ability to clarify issues raised by co‑workers and guests.
- Basic financial literacy and proficiency in basic arithmetic.
- Ability to perform numerical operations and interpret abstract information as needed.
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness and ability to work a varied schedule (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
- Understanding of hotel products and guest services, such as lifestyle, full‑service, and resort categories.
- Team‑player mindset with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
