Business Development Jet Researcher

Description

The Business Development Jet Researcher is responsible for generating new business jet leads, acting as the first point of contact for new owners. The incumbent will work with the President of Business Development & the Vice President of Business Development from their initial contact and pass all leads forward. The Business Development Jet Researcher will evaluate sales leads, and develop strategies to hunt, target, and source new Jet management customers.

Silver Air’s Business Development is a high-velocity sales environment. This role will be expected to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives and connect with 80 potential clients weekly over the phone or via video conference. To be successful in this role, one must exude drive, adapt quickly, and have a proven track record of jet research. This individual must be a team player who is also self‑motivated, reliable, and coachable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary duty will be to handle outbound sales operations through cold calling and video conferencing
  • Identify potential business prospects through different concepts:
    • Conduct research to identify new prospects using existing and creative resources
    • Arranges meetings and conference call for President and Vice President of Business Development
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to grow new business in target markets and specific geographic locations.
  • Establish and monitor targeted clients via Pipedrive (CRM) and communicate company services and sales process from learned target ‘zones’
  • Consistently log and update sales activities in Pipedrive (CRM).
  • Additional duties as assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or equivalent in a related field
  • 3+ years of aviation research experience
  • Ability to generate sales opportunities and build trust with prospects over the phone
  • Must be able to develop confidence with prospects and become an industry expert
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential, highly sensitive matters appropriately
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to network and foster relationships
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Ability to travel at short notice
  • Capacity to learn aviation software
  • Aviation experience is required
