Role:
Retail Banking Sales & Service - Part‑time (20 hours per week). Flexible availability is required to accommodate various shifts each week, including Monday‑Friday and Saturday morning business hours.
- Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
- Identify customer needs and provide advice and guidance on financial solutions that best serve customers.
- Work collaboratively within the branch and across BMO partners to achieve business objectives and deliver a superior customer experience.
- Engage customers in needs‑based conversations to uncover opportunities and address everyday banking and credit card needs.
- Support operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, follow‑up on customer applications, filing, opening, and closing procedures.
- Maintain compliance with risk and regulatory processes and policies while safeguarding customer assets and privacy.
- Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations to provide strategic advice.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of the overall customer experience.
- Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Canada only:
Registration to sell investment products must be completed or in progress within 12 months (as appropriate). - Proficient use of social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
- Some experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
- Basic knowledge of personal banking products and specialized business banking solutions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal & written), organizational, collaborative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Drive to deliver a personal customer experience and a focus on results in a consultative, team‑based environment.
- Resourceful self‑starter with confidence to approach customers and collaborate in a team setting.
Salary: $41,714.00 – $50,500.00 (Salaried). Salaries vary by location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. Part‑time salaries are pro‑rated based on hours regularly worked. Commission roles may include a commission structure on top of base salary.
