Part-Time Local Book Delivery + Potential Sales

Jaunt Journals, a California travel guidebook company, is looking for a reliable local person to help with occasional book deliveries to shops, hotels, and other accounts throughout the Santa Barbara area.

This is a very part-time, flexible position. Deliveries may be needed every few weeks or sometimes only every few months, depending on orders.

You would initially pick up several boxes of books from our warehouse in Goleta and keep a small amount of inventory at your home, so most future deliveries can be made directly from your own stock without returning to the warehouse each time.

• Picking up and storing a few boxes of books
• Delivering orders to shops, hotels, and other local businesses
• Keeping track of inventory and letting us know when stock is running low
• Representing Jaunt Journals professionally when visiting our accounts

You’ll need your own reliable car, a valid driver’s license, and enough space at home to store a few boxes of books.

For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to take on local sales—visiting potential new retailers and helping us grow our Santa Barbara, Ojai + SYV accounts—for additional compensation/commission.

This could be a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable, knows Santa Barbara well, and is looking for flexible occasional work.
