Overnight Security Officer – The Biltmore Resort, Santa Barbara, US

We are seeking a passionate and driven security professional to join our team and play a key role in safeguarding our resort guests and assets.

The Biltmore Resort, Santa Barbara (American Riviera).

• Safeguard resort, guest, and employee property from vandalism, theft, and any kind of crime.
• Monitor and control the movement of employees, visitors, and contractors entering or leaving the resort through the staff entrance.
• Handle all tasks with diplomacy, tact, appropriate discretion, and efficiency.
• Record and control all visitors’ belongings when entering and leaving the resort premises through the employee entrance or loading dock.
• Ensure that unauthorized personnel do not gain access to resort floors and back‑of‑house areas.
• Be fully conversant with every detail of the resort layout.
• Check all current events, activities, and functions at the time of duty.
• Patrol the areas of responsibility to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.

• Minimum two years of security or law‑enforcement experience; luxury‑hotel experience preferred.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic, creative, and fast‑paced environment.
• Outgoing and people‑oriented personality.
• Effective interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
• Reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in English;
  Spanish a plus.
• Familiar with state and local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA); CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Schedule and availability: R24/7; ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
