Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains equipment to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Complete maintenance and repair requests on time.
- Help manage spare parts inventory.
- Support maintenance audits and documentation.
- Work with production to plan maintenance activities.
- Repair and maintain equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Replace or repair switches, sensors, contractors, and motor starters.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and repairs.
- Identify and fix equipment issues that affect quality.
- Train employees on basic equipment operation and care.
- Keep the maintenance shop clean and organized.
Job Type & Location
This is a contract to hire position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
