Service Technician# Service Technician Santa Barbara, CA 93105## Overview Salary Range $33.80 - $33.80 Hourly## Responsbilities
* Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
* Accurately diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability concerns.
* Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
* Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic equipment to identify concerns and verify repairs.
* Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs, additional work needed, and estimated completion times.
* Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing training and manufacturer programs.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with dealership policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Deliver repairs correctly and on time to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.## Qualifications
* Previous automotive technician experience required.
* Ford, or other Domestic OEM certifications preferred.
* ASE certifications are a plus.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Technical or trade school education preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and technical information.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
