About the Role

Seasonal Laundry Driver / Laundry Attendant (American Riviera, Santa Barbara)

Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore, Santa Barbara – a prestigious resort in a Mediterranean setting.

Perform daily linen deliveries and pickups using a 10‑foot delivery truck, ensuring safe and timely service across multiple client locations in the Santa Barbara area. Assist with laundry production when not making deliveries; the role is 40% delivery and 60% laundry duties.

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Maintain a clean driving record and report any changes immediately.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment.
• Report any mechanical problems with vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Present delivery forms.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against the manifest.
• Report delays, accidents, or other incidents to manager.
• Keep vehicle registration and insurance up to date.
• Fill up vehicle with diesel when tank is a quarter full.
• Drive vehicle to maintenance service as required.
• Assist with laundry operations when not delivering; shift split 40% driving and 60% laundry activities.
• Follow delivery and pickup schedule and adapt as requested by supervisor/manager.
• Perform any other duties required by hotel and laundry leadership team.

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience; knowledge of commercial laundry strongly preferred.
• Excellent driving record.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Santa Barbara area and road network.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and write in English;
  Spanish speaking preferred.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, push or pull loads up to 50 lbs; stand for long periods up to 8 hours.
• Current work authorization in the United States.

Availability on Saturdays and Sundays with flexibility on shift times.

• Hourly rate: $22.60
