Staff Accountant

Training provided. Strongly prefer a professional with a completed degree in Accounting. Hands on experience is a plus! Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Execute contract billings and work with external agencies to ensure timely collection of billing
• Prepare annual budget for the business unit
• Analyzing and reporting of Actual spending vs. Budget analysis
• Monthly reporting to Functional Management
• Assisting the accounting department to understand the financial impact of decisions and activities
• Execute the production and distribution of month-end reporting to all business units

Requirements:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
• Strong attention to detail and good follow-through
• Ability to work with a variety of staff

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Non-profit experience
