Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role offers a unique opportunity to support various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Enter and verify financial data in accounting software.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Assist with audits, budget preparation, and financial analysis as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Office environment (remote or hybrid options may apply).
- Standard working hours, with occasional overtime during reporting periods.
Monday to Friday, first shift.
BenefitsPay rate of $28-$31 per hour.
Additional DetailsMaximum pay is $31 per hour. Minimum pay is $28 per hour.
