Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures and controls when carrying out assignments.
• Recording vendor invoices, credit card, and sales.
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements
• Reconciliation of purchase invoices vendors’ statement of accounts.
• Review monthly accruals for sufficiency.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger.
• Assist with the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Research accounting and reporting issues as required.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ experience in accounting department
• Strong understanding of GAAP and thorough knowledge of financial accounting processes
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• CPA preferred
• Quickbooks experience preferred
