Receptionist
Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
3 Months (Possible Extension)
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role is responsible for front desk operations, guest management, meeting coordination, and providing high-quality customer service while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities Front Desk Operations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all individuals entering the building
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls appropriately
Guest & Visitor Management
  • Greet and assist guests, clients, and visitors upon arrival
  • Provide directions or escort visitors to meeting locations
  • Ensure all visitors sign in/out and are properly accounted for
Customer Service & Administrative Support
  • Respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
  • Deliver high-level customer service aligned with company standards
Badge & Access Coordination
  • Create badges for visitors and temporary staff
  • Assist with access setup while following security protocols
Meeting & Conference Room Coordination
  • Schedule and manage conference/meeting room bookings
  • Ensure meeting rooms are set up and equipped as required

Experience & Education
  • 1–2 years of receptionist or related experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Outlook (email management and calendar scheduling)
  • Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, collaboration)
  • Basic computer skills (file management, printing, internet use)
Interview Process
  • One phone screening and/or virtual interview
