Tax Analyst Intermediate

Santa Clara, CA (Work in the office at least once a week)

3 Months contract

Shift- 8AM-5PM

• Processing numerous sales, use & property, income tax, tax returns, etc. (obtaining appropriate signatures through Docu Sign) and preparation for e-filing, or mailing and filing.
• Mail distribution
• Assist with Assignee tax equalization check processing
• Assist with records inventory
• Certified mail of documents and checks at Post Office
• Send out documents by Fed Ex
• Assist on Assignee Tax functions
• Draft response letters to IRS/State notices
• Assist on Assignee tax matters, equalizations, etc.
• Assist on Abandoned Property report filings
• Administrative functions (invoice payments, scanning, copying, Fed Ex, Certified Mail, etc.)
• Special Projects as assigned

Minimum Education /Experience

Required:

• 3 to 5 years comparable work experience, tax experience preferred

• Must be accurate, organized, and flexible to handle work on numerous projects
• Strong proficiency with:
• Microsoft 365 applications (including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word)
• Docu Sign
• Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Experience with the postage meter
