Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Automotive Technician to join one of our largest tech clients in the Bay Area. This person will be working under the supervision of senior engineers responsible for developing and maintaining hardware systems to drive the car. You will work with different teams, including electrical, mechanical, software engineering, and QA to transform the information into driving the car with the best experience.
You will help build, test, and maintain the system and make it work flawlessly and safely on our driving platform. You are expected to have strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Previous hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and updating autonomous vehicle hardware is a requirement. Experience with autonomous vehicle sensor suite hardware and automotive mechanical and electrical systems is highly valued.
This role can pay between $35-$40/hour depending on years of experience and skillset.

- 3+ years of hands on vehicle experience within electrical components
- Valid US driver's license
- Ability to travel 3-4 days of the month
- Ability to work Wednesday-Sunday schedule – ASE or MECP certification preferred
- High Voltage experience / certification
- Knowledge and experience using Windows or Linux operating systems
