Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission‑critical applications for top tier enterprises around the world. Our cloud offers unmatched hyperscale, multi‑tenant services deployed in more than 50 regions worldwide. OCI is expanding its mission beyond the traditional boundaries of public cloud to include dedicated, hybrid and multi‑cloud, edge computing, and more.

The Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization is reimagining the future of cloud. Our mission is to support our existing business as it scales to meet evolving customer needs. We are looking at the needs of our existing customers and using that feedback to build new services at every level of the stack. We have ambitious initiatives underway to build new innovative platforms, high‑performance primitives, frameworks to support OCI developers, and new environments that will transform all OCI services, including our most demanding, high‑performance, high‑availability services.

Our scope spans compute, storage, networking, data services, operations, and more. We aim to enhance engineering efficiency by concentrating our expertise on building high‑performance, low‑level systems that can be adopted by cloud services across OCI. We are also creating and operating OCI‑wide programs to improve organizational engineering standards, governing processes, architectural review boards, change management, intercoms, PSAs, and recruiting tools.

In this Principal Technical Product Management role, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for OCI’s next‑generation cloud platform. You will manage product lifecycle from design to release and define new products and features, analyze customer requirements, perform market and competitive research, and own the product roadmap. Other responsibilities include development of new concepts and definition and synthesis of business requirements from internal and external partners, writing product specifications, launch planning, SKU enablement, pricing, and customer engagement.

You will lead and coordinate efforts between cross‑functional teams and will be expected to assess appropriate trade‑offs to optimize customer experience, time‑to‑market, and to clearly communicate goals, define business models, and represent your product portfolio internally and externally. You will be the undisputed expert when it comes to your product functionality and provide strong inputs to the engineering team on architecture and design and non‑functional requirements for performance, scalability, resiliency, and supportability.

This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new cloud services from the ground up. Our team combines start‑up agility with the scale and resources of one of the world’s leading cloud companies. We are still at an early state, growing fast, and working on ambitious new initiatives. You will be part of a team of smart, motivated, diverse people, and given the autonomy as well as support to do your best work.

It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you’ll belong and be encouraged.

Who are we looking for?

You possess a strong Product Management background, work backwards from the customer experience and have experience launching multiple customer‑facing products. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment unhindered by ambiguity; you combine developing and driving high‑level strategic initiatives with diving deep, rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, a customer‑centric mindset, negotiation skills, ability to influence and analytical talent are critical to succeed in this position.

  • Product Vision & Strategy:
Define and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Registration and Scheduling products, in line with the TSO portfolio strategy.
  • Customer‑Centric Approach:
Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, ensuring the products address market needs and improve customer experiences.
  • Product Development & Innovation:
Drive new product development and enhancements to existing solutions, utilizing innovative approaches to meet market demands and improve competitive positioning.
  • Cross‑Functional
