Principal Product Manager - Business Applications AI

Explicitly requires vibe-coding skills—hands-on prototyping with tools like Cursor and Lovable to build AI-native agent workflows.

About the Role

Lead the AI product strategy for enterprise business applications, owning roadmaps and delivering AI-native prototypes that automate critical workflows across sales, finance, support, and customer success. Drive cross-functional implementation, set operational standards and telemetry for AI outputs, and validate solutions through hands‑on 'vibe-coding' prototypes before engineering handoff.

Job Description Role

Principal Product Manager focused on Business Applications AI responsible for defining and prioritizing an AI-powered roadmap for enterprise business applications (Sales, Licensing, Finance, Support, Customer Success, BI & Data Analytics). The role emphasizes hands‑on prototyping with generative AI and low‑code tools to validate agentic workflows and integrations with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and prioritize an enterprise AI roadmap tailored to business application domains (CPQ/Lead-to-Cash, Licensing/Entitlements, Revenue/Billing, Support workflows, Customer Success, BI).
  • Partner with business leaders to identify manual bottlenecks and apply AI/agentic workflows to streamline journeys (Quote-to-Cash, License Provisioning, Financial Reconciliation, Ticket Deflection, Health Scoring).
  • Build and iterate functional prototypes using AI-native tools (e.g., Cursor, Lovable, low-code platforms) to validate agent interactions with enterprise APIs before engineering handoff (“vibe-coding”).
  • Define operational standards including error budgets, accuracy guardrails, compliance controls, and governance for AI outputs in business‑critical systems.
  • Create and version‑control “Golden Sets” from enterprise data, logs, financial records, and telemetry to evaluate model performance in real‑world scenarios.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualifications:

12+ years with a Bachelor’s; or 8+ years with a Master’s; or PhD with 5+ years in Product Management for enterprise applications, business systems, or Data/BI architecture.
  • Mandatory hands‑on experience building functional prototypes, code snippets, or mock UIs using generative AI tools and no‑code/low‑code platforms.
  • Strong SDLC knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and writing high‑quality user stories.
  • Proven experience conducting Voice of Customer interviews and customer discovery in complex B2B environments.
  • Technical literacy with GenAI tools: hands‑on experience turning prompts into constrained functional prototypes (vibe-coding) to validate requirements.
  • Deep understanding of LLM mechanics and constraints (context windows, hallucinations), RAG architectures, and agentic workflows as they apply to enterprise processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein, Workday Extend, SAP BTP, Gainsight, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau/PowerBI, Salesforce Service Cloud, CPQ, SAP or Workday Financials.
  • Domain experience across Sales & Revenue Ops, Licensing & Entitlements, Finance & ERP, Customer Support, Customer Success, Business Intelligence & Data, or large‑scale enterprise transformation.
  • Analytical and “maker” mindset with a portfolio demonstrating AI‑driven enterprise solutions, automated workflows, or automated BI.
Compensation
  • Listed base salary range: $ - $ per year. Compensation may include restricted stock units and a bonus; sales/commissioned roles may include base salary + commission target.
Location & Work Model
  • Role is based in Santa Clara, California (Palo Alto Networks Product Engineering). The company states most teams work from the office full time with flexibility when needed (office‑first model).
