Summary

A respected Northern California general contractor is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations on DSA, K-12, and public works construction projects throughout the Sacramento/Roseville region. This individual will be responsible for driving day‑to‑day jobsite execution, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld from mobilization through closeout.

• Lead field operations on DSA, K-12, and public works construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, manpower, and daily construction activities
• Maintain project schedules and drive short‑term look‑ahead planning
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and per plans/specifications
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and communication with DSA and public agencies
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across the jobsite
• Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain daily field coordination
• Identify and help resolve constructability, sequencing, and field issues proactively
• Oversee deliveries, staging, and overall site organization
• Maintain daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
• Support punch list completion, inspections, and closeout activities

• 7‑10+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
• Strong experience managing DSA, K-12, or public works projects required
• Proven ability to oversee projects from start through completion
• Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination
• Experience working with public agencies, inspectors, and compliance requirements
• Strong field leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or related construction software preferred
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
