Overview

Earn $22.00/hr

  • Performs routine fire and safety inspections including but not limited to:
    Fire Extinguisher, Sprinkler Systems, Food Fire Suppression Systems, Fall Protection Equipment, Hazardous Waste & Bulk storage, Building safety, Spill Contingency and Personal Protective Equipment

  • Responds to and assists with Emergency Scene Management, Ride Evacuations, Safety Investigations and provide guest and/or associate assistance as necessary

  • Conduct weekly fire/safety drills at locations in the Park

  • Perform follow-up inspections for corrective action and report continued safety issues to the appropriate department and Safety Manager

  • Partners with departments to assist with creating solutions to safety concerns

  • Assists with the regular maintenance of emergency equipment

  • Operates and maintains emergency response vehicles and associated equipment

  • Completed and maintains timely and accurate audit and inspection documentation in an orderly and efficient manner

  • Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with associates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions

  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision

  • Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications
  • You!

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Candidates must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday for Summer operation.

  • We’re looking for candidates who have FULL AVAILABILITY meaning they’re able to work opening and/or closing shifts for the Spring Operating season.

  • ** Ideally looking for candidates available to work up to 8 hr. shifts.

  • This is a seasonal position, and we’re looking for candidates who can work a minimum of 3 months through the end of the year.

  • People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.

  • Individuals with a passion and excitement about California’s Great America.
