- Appropriate California Teaching Credential (Non-Certificated applicants may apply under the California Administrative Code Section 5531). Preference to in-house candidates.
- Successful Coaching
Experience:
Current TB Test CPR & First Aid Familiar with the Code of Ethical Conduct published by the California Interscholastic Federation.
We are seeking a dedicated Head Junior Varsity Softball Coach to lead our JV program and foster athlete development. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Varsity Head Coach to align team philosophy, terminology, and system schemes across all levels. Key focus areas include fundamental skill development, game IQ, sportsmanship, and preparing student-athletes for the Varsity level.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications- Plan and direct daily JV practices and manage game-day operations.
- Collaborate with Varsity staff to build a cohesive, program-wide development pipeline.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined team culture focused on growth and academic accountability.
- High school or club coaching experience preferred; strong softball knowledge required.
- Must hold or obtain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, NFHS courses) and district clearances (TB/Fingerprints).
