Requirements / Qualifications

Appropriate California Teaching Credential (Non-Certificated applicants may apply under the California Administrative Code Section 5531). Preference to in-house candidates. Successful Coaching

Experience:

Current TB Test CPR & First Aid Familiar with the Code of Ethical Conduct published by the California Interscholastic Federation.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead the Program:
    Oversee varsity program operations, including daily practices, match strategies, and player development.
  • Mentor Motivated Athletes:
    Work with a group of dedicated players who are eager to learn, improve, and compete at a high level.
  • Cultivate Excellence:
    Maintain a positive, competitive team culture that balances athletic growth with academic success and character.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong passion for badminton (coaching or high-level playing experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage match-day logistics.
  • Availability for the full Spring season (daily practices and matches from February through May).

We are seeking a knowledgeable, inspiring Varsity Head Coach to lead our established badminton program. Our student-athletes are highly motivated, competitive, and dedicated to the sport.
