Job Summary

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to process and resolve mechanical problems, design and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes, and enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, sub‑assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications;

overseeing manufacturing and installation processes; and coordinating procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating models and drawings associated with waveguide, and managing demo logistics and operation.
  • Following all safety protocols in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Communicating technical ideas and concepts to other mechanical engineering team members and non‑mechanical engineering team members.
  • Interface with internal and external customers to understand specifications and requirements.
  • Generating drawings per internal and relevant industrial standards.
  • Verifying models and drawings against specifications and requirements.
  • Managing shipment and receiving of demo devices and parts.
  • Managing logistics and preparation of the demo for customers.
  • Organizing demo devices and parts.
  • Operating demo devices and presenting them to audiences (customers, suppliers, employees).
  • Supporting startups and field issues regarding designed products.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Engineering Skills and Problem‑Solving
    • Experience in 3D CAD software, ideally Siemens NX, and 2D CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD) to design and draw parts per ASME Y14.5M standard.
    • Solid hands‑on ability in an engineering lab.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    • Fluent in daily English conversation.
  • Mindset
    • Open to listening to other people’s opinions to improve ideas, plans, designs, etc.
    • Has learning agility and curiosity to learn new concepts, ideas, and subjects through work and self‑learning, especially outside one’s background.
