Hardware Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in hardware development, is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware Engineering department supporting cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Santa Clara, CA

What's the Job?

• Design and develop hardware components for first silicon hardware boards, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, qualification, and test engineering to integrate hardware solutions seamlessly.
• Drive strategic hardware design initiatives aligned with company goals and industry trends.
• Participate in the development and debugging of ATE and bench boards, utilizing tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Stay updated on emerging hardware technologies and incorporate best practices into design processes.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in high-speed PCB design, layout, and schematic capture using Cadence Allegro and Capture CIS.
• Experience with ATE and characterization board development on Advantest T2000 and 93K platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of power distribution networks and simulation tools such as Cadence Sigrity, Ansys Siwave, and HFSS.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root cause analysis in a lab environment.
