Schedule: M-F 8am to 5pm
Pay Rate: $185K to $200K Annually
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components for semiconductor tools, including chambers, fixtures and thermal systems
- Develop and validate mechanical assemblies ensuring compliance with cleanroom and contamination control standards
- Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis and vibration studies to ensure reliability and durability
- Collaborate with electrical and process engineers to integrate mechanical systems with overall tool design
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in production equipment to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and industry standards in all mechanical designs
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Solid Works, AutoCAD), FEA software, and thermal/mechanical analysis
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferences:
- Experience designing components for vacuum systems, gas delivery systems and thermal management
- Hands‑on experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment and cleanroom protocols
- Familiarity with material selection for high‑purity and high‑temperature environments
